Mediterraneo is a Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Ridgewood that opened in 2005 (a local favorite if you ever have the opportunity to dine there!) Although the restaurant had built a reputation for its unique menu and lovely ambiance, it lacked any web presence. Mediterraneo engaged Creare Web Solutions in 2015 to develop a website and digital marketing strategy. The owner wanted a highly visual, appealing website that would share the chef’s passion for preparing delicious food and giving diners an unforgettable culinary experience.
Mediterraneo had several goals for its new website:
Crearé Web Solutions created a stunning website that relies heavily on the owner’s beautiful photography. Given the nature of the business and desired artistic outcome of the website, at the outset of the project, we researched many restaurant and travel websites and developed a creative brief to guide the website’s design and development. In the end, we brought the owner’s vision to life by collaborating to understand the style he wanted to achieve.
Today, Mediterraneo’s website is a primary form of marketing for the restaurant. We are continually working to update it and add to it in order to make it easier for customers and potential customers to engage with the restaurant.
Crearé Web Solutions also won a 2016 Graphic Design USA Award for the site’s design.
