Meet the Team

We are a husband and wife team working from our home-office on the coast of Southern Maine. Originally from New Jersey, we traded the warm spring season for mud season back in 2018 to realize our dream of slowing down the pace and living by the ocean.

Working together has its benefits: we always have a lunch date, we can be flexible covering the needs of our 4 kids, and we are always talking about your project from our morning walk around the neighborhood to our family dinner!

There isn't much separation between work and life. Sometimes it's exhausting, but it has afforded us the flexibility we craved and a teammate we can both trust.

We have been known to work from the hospital room after childbirth, jump on Zoom meetings from vacation, and even work on the weekends (especially when it rains). We not only strive to be an extension of our client's team but really become a part of their lives and business.

We will do whatever possible to support you as you grow your business.

Brianna has helped small businesses improve their marketing efforts since 2005. Prior to founding Creare in 2012, she was a product manager for EducationDynamics, an online marketing manager for Crestron Electronics, and a design and marketing strategist and graphic designer for Graphic D-Signs (now Kick Charge Creative). Brianna has worked on both the client and agency side as an account manager, art director, designer, and project manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in digital media and marketing from Loyola University Maryland (where she met her other half).

When not in front of the computer you’ll probably find Brianna carting their 4 kids (and their friends) around town or volunteering at one of their schools, passionately sharing information about cleaner personal care products (thanks Beautycounter), sipping a glass of red wine while dreaming of traveling back to Firenze (where Crearé—to create— was inspired from) or spending time with a good book on the beach. A true Jersey girl at heart, one place you will never find her is at the pump filling up the car—that's a job for Nic.

Nic started his career as a freelance programmer and moved into system design engineering and technical and solutions/product marketing for Crestron Electronics. He joined Creare in 2013 as its chief web developer, working directly with clients to build functional and well-designed websites. A creative at heart, Nic is Creare’s photographer and videographer as well, creating visual assets for clients’ websites. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Loyola University Maryland (where he met his other half).

When Nic isn’t knee deep in code you’ll find him either taking apart (or putting together) something with his boys, elbow deep in the garden finding zucchini flowers to fry, or composing the next hit song. Be sure to follow him to hear his latest songs.
